DISCOVERY TOUR OF YACOUBA REGION (Man)



Departing from Abidjan, 8 days to discover the traditions and charms 
of the Western Ivory Coast.

Day 1
Welcome at Abidjan airport and transfer to the hotel. Group introductions and orientation.Free time and welcoming cocktail with the group.
Dinner in the typical restaurant and night at the hotel.

Day 2  
Discover Adjamé, a lively neighborhood and its surprising market, the banco forest and its workers…

Day 3
Morning departure for Yamoussoukro.
Visit Our Lady of Peace Basilica, the Houphouët Boigny Foundation and the famous Crocodile Lake.
Dinner and night in hotel 

Day 4
Leave for Man, lunch along the way.Visit a coffee and cocoa plantation.  Dinner and night in hotel in the beautiful mountain country.

Day 5
Manese tradition and culture welcome you.  Visit a typical Yacouba village, side trip to a village near the sacred spring in Dompleu.  Discover the famous liana bridges and waterfalls.  Return to the hotel in Man for the night.

Day 6
Hike to the “Tooth of Man” mountain.
Depart after lunch for Sassandra.

Day 7
 To Laketo, Poly-plage…
After a day of swimming and lounging far from civilisation, spend the night in a modernized traditional hut. 

Day 8
Return to Abidjan and visit Grand Bassam, a former Ivory Coast capital on the Atlantic coast.A hint of the past as you discover the city’s French colonial architecture. 
Visits to local sculptors and numerous artisans are planned
Transfer to the airport in late afternoon (end of tour).
