DISCOVERY TOUR OF THE SENOUFO REGION (Korhogo)



Departing from Abidjan, 8 days to discover the beauty and traditions 
of the Ivory Coast, from North to South. 

Day 1
Welcome at Abidjan airport and transfer to the hotel. 
Group introductions and orientation.  Free time and welcoming cocktail with the group. Dinner in a typical restaurant and night in the hotel.

Day 2
Discover Adjamé, a lively neighborhood and its surprising market, the banco forest and its workers…

Day 3  
Departure for Korhogo, passing through the nature preserves of Abokrouamékro and Bouaké.  Lunch along the way. 
Arrival in Korhogo, dinner and night at a hotel in the Senoufo region.

Day 4
After breakfast, visit an art colony and the village of Waraniéré, renowned for its weavers.
Visit a typical Sénoufo village.
In early afternoon, a side trip will include the Sacred Forest and summit of Mont Korhogo.
Performance of “Poro” the panther dance.
Dinner and night in the hotel.

Day 5
Morning excursion to Koni, an iron-working village, to discover the artisans’ methods.
Return to Korhogo and visit the Museum and market.
Departure in early afternoon for Yamoussoukro.

Day 6
Visit Our Lady of Peace Basilica, the Houphouët-Boigny Foundation and the well-known Crocodile Lake.
Night in Grand Bassam, a former Ivory Coast capital city on the Atlantic coast.

Day 7
Visit Grand Bassam.  Rest and relaxation on the beach.Optional excursion to the Ebrié lagoon.

Day 8 
)Free time in Grand Bassam 
Transfer to the airport in late afternoon (end of tour)
