Côte d'Ivoire has always given a prominent place in its culture and traditions.
The four major cultural areas (Akan, Gur, Mande and Kru) house sixty ethnicities. Each has customs, unique initiation rituals and dances.

THE "ABISSA"

This traditional festivitie and cultural festival of the community N'zima (southeast people) symbolizes the concepts of democracy and social justice in the N'zima Kotoko's kingdom.

THE "DIPRI"

The DIPRI festival takes place in Abidji countries (Sikensi) in the localities of Yaobou, Gomon, Elibou, Sahué, Badasso and marks both the end and the beginning of the new year.

THE "TEMATE"

Traditional dance of rice crops, Tématé is a celebration dance.

THE "BOLOYE"

The Boloye (or Boloi) or the dance of the panther is a traditional dance of the Senoufo ethnic group, ethnic group from northern Ivory Coast.

THE "GOLI"

Goli is a helmet mask buffalo head shape. It only comes out for special occasions.
